End User License Agreement

Last updated 16 September 2026

This agreement is between you and Spencer Uresk ("we") for the ServeMon software ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to it.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the app on up to three Macs that you own or control, for the trial period and, after purchase, for as long as you like. A license bought for a team may be used on up to three Macs per seat purchased.

Updates

A purchase includes all updates released within twelve months of the purchase date. After that, the version you have continues to work indefinitely. Continued updates are available as an optional renewal.

Restrictions

You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, or sell the app or license keys; remove or circumvent licensing; or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it regardless of this clause.

What the app does on your Mac

The app reads process information, the launchd property lists Homebrew installs, and the container runtime's socket to list your services, and sends short protocol messages to their ports to check that they answer. When you ask it to, it starts, stops, or restarts a service through brew services, the container API, or a signal, and opens a client in Terminal. It does not modify service data directories or configuration files, and it does not install anything that runs as root.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app, including any consequence of starting, stopping, or restarting a service, of a health probe, or of a command or connection string copied from the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Termination

This license ends if you breach it. You may end it any time by deleting the app.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA.
